1.Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

2.Hosting

This website is hosted by the following provider:

This website consists of pre-built static files. They are stored in Cloudflare’s global network and are usually delivered from the location closest to you. Cloudflare also provides name resolution (DNS) and the certificate for the encrypted connection, and redirects requests for www.myplacely.de to myplacely.de. There is no server-side program code, no database and no storage of input.

When you access the website, Cloudflare processes the data that is technically generated, in particular your IP address, exclusively on my behalf and according to my instructions. This is based on the data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR (Cloudflare Data Processing Addendum), which forms part of Cloudflare’s terms of service.

Cloudflare is used in the interest of providing this website securely, quickly and reliably. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).

A transfer of data to the USA cannot be ruled out. Cloudflare bases such transfers on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission has determined an adequate level of data protection (Art. 45 GDPR), and additionally on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR).

Additional Cloudflare features that collect further data or modify content – such as Web Analytics, Zaraz, Email Obfuscation or Bot Fight Mode – are not enabled for this website.

3.Server log files

When you access this website, information transmitted by your browser is collected automatically. This includes:

• browser type and browser version
• operating system used
• referrer URL, i.e. the previously visited page
• host name of the accessing computer
• time of the server request
• IP address

This data is not combined with other data sources. It is collected on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. I have a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and the security of this website.

This data is generated at Cloudflare as the host (see section 2), not by me. I have not set up any logging of my own; the logging function for delivery (Workers Logs) is disabled. In the plan used, I have no access to individual access logs. In the Cloudflare dashboard I only see aggregated statistics, such as the number of requests, without reference to individual persons.

4.Contact form

The form on the contact page does not transmit any data to this website or to third parties. Your input remains in your browser and, when you submit, is used solely to open a pre-filled message to hallo@myplacely.de in your own email program. You decide yourself whether you actually send this message. Nothing is stored on the server of this website.

If you send the message, section 5 (contact by email) applies to further processing.

5.Contact by email

If you send me an email, your details, including the contact details you provide, will be stored by me for the purpose of processing your enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. I will not pass this data on without your consent.

The processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry is related to the conclusion or performance of a contract. In all other cases, the processing is based on my legitimate interest in the effective handling of enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) if this has been requested. You can revoke any consent given at any time with effect for the future.

6.Fonts

This website uses fonts that are served entirely from its own server. When the page is accessed, no connection is made to third-party servers, in particular not to Google Fonts. No data is therefore transmitted to third parties in this process.

7.No cookies, no analytics, no tracking

This website itself does not set any cookies, does not use any analytics or statistics tools, does not include any advertising networks and does not contain any social media buttons. Third-party content is not loaded at all, not even after a click. A consent banner is therefore not required. There is no automated decision-making or profiling.

The website is available in German and English. On your first visit, a small script in your browser reads the language set there and, if necessary, redirects you to the matching language version. If you choose the language yourself using the language switcher, your browser stores this choice (“de” or “en”) in local storage (localStorage) so that the website appears in this language on your next visit. This information does not leave your device and is not transmitted to me. Storing it is strictly necessary for the language selection you requested (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG, German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act). You can delete the entry at any time in your browser settings.

8.Placely application

This policy applies to the website myplacely.de. The application at app.myplacely.de is a separate offering and is not covered by this policy.

9.Encryption

For security reasons, this website uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser’s address bar begins with https://. When encryption is active, the data you transmit to this website cannot be read by third parties.

10.Storage period

Unless a specific storage period is stated in this policy, your personal data will remain with me until the purpose for the data processing no longer applies. If you assert a legitimate request for deletion or revoke your consent, your data will be deleted unless statutory retention periods prevent this. Retention periods under commercial and tax law are generally six and ten years respectively.

You have the following rights with regard to your personal data:

12.Right to object under Art. 21 GDPR

If data processing is based on Art. 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. I will then no longer process your data unless I can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

13.Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

Without prejudice to any other legal remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement.
